Free updates validity
Free updates are provided for the whole lifetime of the current CMS version you have purchased. For instance, if you have purchased version 3, you will get for free all the updates related for v3. When the next version comes out, updates will not be provided until you upgrade to the newser version.
Updates content and number
There is no guarantee on the minimum number of updates that any version of the CMS will received. It depends the amount on my free time and my working schedule.
Also the new features that will be introduced by updates are decided by me. I constantly collect feedbacks from customers about what they might find useful and I filter what features can be really useful to every customer.
Requesting a custom feature to be included in the next update is not accepted.
Installation
- Hosted Plan: updates are managed by me, so you will received them without even noticing. I will take care of everything.
- On-Premise Plan: you will have access to the main repository of Lovel CMS and be able to check when new updates (commits) come out and manually apply them to your website code.
Since your website can have some customizations (such as the design or new functionalities), some updates cannot be directly merged in your website but will require some adaptations. It’s up to you to manage this last aspect.
If required, I can install the new updates for you but that’s not covered by the base price. My standard hourly-rate will be applied.
